Biography:

Changlei Qin received his PhD from School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering, The University of Queensland in 2014, and ever visited CanmetENERGY, Natural Resources Canada under the support of UQ in 2013. He joined Chongqing University in 2014, and is currently an associate professor in School of Energy and Power Engineering. He is also a research fellow in Key Laboratory of Low-grade Energy Utilization Technologies and Systems of Ministry of Education.

Dr. Qin’s research interests focus on CO2 adsorption and conversion at high temperature, biomass/methane catalytic conversion to H2 and chemical looping in the field of low carbon and clean energy technology. He hosted several research funds of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chongqing Basic Science and Advanced Technology Research Program, Venture and Innovation Support Program for Chongqing Overseas Returnee, etc. He has published about 50 SCI papers (included 4 ESI highly cited paper) in the journal of Environ. Sci. Technol., Appl. Energy, Chem. Eng. J. etc., which were totally cited around 1400 times. He gave more than 10 oral presentations in the academic conference and obtained one third prize of Chongqing Science and Technology progress Award.

He has been acted as a session chair of academic conferences for 2 times and was in the organizing committee of the first chemical looping conference in China. Dr. Qin is also a reviewer of National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science Centre Poland, and around 30 journals including Environ. Sci. Technol., Appl. Energy, Chem. Eng. J. Fuel.
